The Florida Class “D” Unarmed Security Officer Training Program is a mandatory 40-hour course for individuals who wish to obtain employment as unarmed security personnel within the state of Florida. This training fulfills all educational requirements outlined in Chapter 493 of the Florida Statutes and qualifies participants to apply for a Class “D” Security Officer License through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).
